The daughter of the eco-terrorist and leader of the League of Assassins, Ra's al Ghul, little is known of the origin of Talia.

She first came into contact with the Batman when her father used her as bait in a false kidnapping scheme to offer the Dark Knight a position in his organization. Falling in love with the mysterious vigilante, Talia has had to constantly choose between her devotion to her father and her love for the Batman.

In recent times, Talia tired of living under her father's shadow and longed for independence. She escaped from her father and replaced Lex Luthor, who went on to become U.S president, as the C.E.O of Lexcorp.
