Damian is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul. He was conceived
shortly after the marriage of his parents. During this marriage,
Batman was aiding Ra's Al Ghul against one of his former operatives,
but Batman decided to leave Ra's to care for Talia and her unborn
child. Talia, in an effort to change his mind, told Batman that she
miscarried and shortly after, Batman returned home unaware his child
was alive. During this time, Damian was raised by his mother and underwent rigorous training with the League of Assassins. After being introduced to his father, Damian attempts to reconcile his upbringing with his father's ideals. Despite his aggressive nature, Damian hopes to follow in Batman's footsteps as a hero.
