Maggie Sawyer

Maggie Sawyer was the head of the Special Crime Unit of the Metropolis Police Department. She used to be the cop in charge of superhuman crimes in the city. Because of this, she has met and cooperated several times with Superman, who helped her find her daughter when she was missing. Sawyer used to work with Turpin in a superb team capable of confronting any menace from Bizarro to Darkseid. At some point, he even believed he was in love with her, until Maggie introduced him to her girlfriend, Toby, to avoid further problems.

Recently, Sawyer has been transferred to Gotham to replace Harvey Bullock as shift officer in the Major Crimes Unit. Amazingly, she accepted being demoted to be back in the streets and still she considered it a honor to be asked to do so. The detectives in her department appreciated her gesture and welcomed her. However, her decision might have been problematic for her private life.
